I am originally from Eastman, GA and now living in Clarksville, TN. I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University and completed my undergraduate degree at University of Maryland in Social Science w/minor in Business Administration. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in April 2015 with the state of TN, and currently, a member of the TLPCA and ACA.
I am retired from the US Army and have worked with the military population in counseling since October 2012. My focus is on individual and group counseling for all ages concerning life issues. I have experience in stress and anger management, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, PTSD, crisis intervention/prevention, career-related issues, life transitions, and spiritual life coaching. I am experienced in CBT techniques with an emphasis on cognitive restructuring.
I am a professional who have the love and compassionate spirit towards all human beings. My purpose is to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which individuals can be supported in their efforts to change and grow in every aspect of their lives (mind, body, and spirit).
Outside of the office, I like to study the Bible, teach Ladies’ and children Bible classes, visit the elderly, and spend time with my husband, (3) daughters, (2) grandchildren, family and friends. I love traveling to other states and countries, especially Hawaii and Europe.
