Christina (Kristy) Polk is a licensed clinical social worker with master's degree in social work from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Harding University. She also holds a certificate from Boston University in Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy.
Christina has accumulated over 13 years' experience in the mental health field. She is widely experienced, having served in community mental health, private practice, hospital, and prison settings. She works extensively with adult clients at the Hendersonville location and offers telehealth as a therapy option.
Christina became a therapist to help clients learn their own worth and inner strength. Coming to therapy for the first-time is not easy, but no one will be alone in the process. Please know that Christina seeks to help the process run as smoothly as possible by moving at a comfortable pace in a judgement free space.
