Kathleen Farr, M.Ed., NCC, obtained her Master’s degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University and is a member of the American Counseling Association. She views counseling as a collaborative and active process in which counselors and clients walk together on journeys toward the ability to thrive and change; in this process, old wounds are healed and new paths in life are forged in self-awareness, strength, and authenticity. Kathleen is trained in EMDR (Levels I & II), Prepare/Enrich, and draws on various therapy models (e.g., Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) in her work with clients. She sees clients dealing with a variety of issues including: anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, pre-marital work, grief, and identity exploration and development. |
