He believes that no matter the issue, providing a safe environment will help each one of us reach our unlimited potential. He believes that each person already has the answers for their struggles, but may have never been put in a comfortable enough environment to determine those answers. Cameron practices play therapy of various types including child-centered play therapy and sand tray, which can be used with every age group in a variety of ways. He believes that some children communicate more effectively with toys than with words, so by being able to demonstrate control over their experience using toys, this can lead to the child mastering their feelings of self-esteem. Cameron has a passion for mental health, specifically childhood mental health from preschool age to adolescence, and giving back to the community. He approaches his therapy style from an entire systems approach and works closely with families and individuals to get them where they want to be. |
